Well, this has been quite a week, has it not. Things are evidently getting more and more tense in Israel by the minute. Everyone has seen the pictures as have the Palestinians. Abbas recognizes the instability of the Israeli situation, has tried to assuage, but nothing doing. I can't remember reading about anything like this kind of reaction in Israel before. It is truly unfortunate that we have such an inept administration at this historic moment.

In Bahrain, the King has called for Martial law. The parliament now consists of exclusively pro-monarch members, and Gates is there to show our support for the monarchy.

In Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah's forces have spent nearly two weeks brutally crushing opposition in the East.

And we discuss...Libya. From Libya, we get two per cent of our oil. The French, whom Thomas Friedman aptly described as having "the morality of a gnat," have lived up to their reputation, are displaying a degree of hypocrisy and an ability for self-delusion, hitherto demonstrated only by the wily Brits.
For all their moral outrage, the fact is that their Total Oil, a remnant of colonialism, is almost exclusively dependent on Libyan oil.

Good luck to them, then, with that no fly zone.

Meanwhile, for Ivory Coast, involved in bloody war for ten years, we hear? What was that? Nothing? Oh, no oil. I forgot.

We're still waiting on caste, for instance, and on the treatment of gays in many black churches. Not to mention Vatican Bank.)

I expect to see this under "Islam" since it is certainly as relevant to Islam as Israeli housing is to Judaism.

But here at home, controversies over the so-called ground zero mosque and the Florida pastor who threatened to burn the Quran have spurred a new exchange of recriminations: Muslims tolerate extremism; non-Muslims suffer from Islamophobia.

American Muslims are uniquely positioned to lead an honest conversation and bridge the growing divide – if they will accept the challenge. Tarnishing all Muslims as terrorists is unjust and counterproductive – but so is accusing sincerely concerned Americans of doing that.

Non-Muslims may not fully grasp the theological and political distinctions between Islam and Islamism, but they legitimately ask their Muslim fellow citizens just what the connection is between Islam and those who murder in its name.

Non-Muslim Americans know that most Muslims in this country live the same peaceful, law-abiding lives, enjoy the same rights, and deserve the same respect as other citizens.

But all Americans – Muslims included – deserve candor, lest we become, in Attorney General Eric Holder's misapplied term, "a nation of cowards."

At the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan in 2002, Jordan's King Abdullah stated:

"[Americans] hear the hatred spewed by groups mistakenly called Islamic fundamentalists. In fact ... they are religious totalitarians, in a long line of extremists of various faiths who seek power by intimidation, violence, and thuggery."

President George W. Bush made the same point in earlier and later speeches. President Obama has also said America is not at war with Islam.

Nevertheless, the king worried about a growing Western perception grounded in fact – that while most Muslims are not terrorists, most terrorists are Muslims.

You claim they are out of context, but the text is itself either out of context in the Qur’an if, as you explain, these quotes were meant when the Muslim Faith was beginning and it was meant for self defense. However, today Jihad is an engine of Muslim terror. So your answer is not a sufficient. There is no justice in the Muslim religion; no order; the Qur'an feeds vigilante justice among the fanatics.

What Muslims want is rigid compliance with their religion started by a man who is fallible, and some say later went mad with power. Islam is a religion that doesn’t recognize Freedom of Religion, or that all men are created equal.

Islam does not recognize man has a free will or freedom of speech and religion. These inhibitions define Muslims inefficacy. These freedoms expose Islam's impropriety because Islam violates these rights inscribed in human nature, hence, Islam contradicts God's Natural Law (NL).

Equality is part of the NL. So is choice. You cannot force one to believe; you must convince them as Mother Theresa said, "With Love," by example, and the fruits that the beliefs bear. The fruits of Islam are violence, disorder and travail.

Denied equality, people are made subservient to dictators. Islam is interpreted by tyrants that violently compel their beliefs on those who are defenseless.

There is no violence in Catholicism except in self-defense. Its Two Great Commandments sum up the Ten Commandments: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” and, “Love your neighbor as you love yourself and as God so loves you.” The Muslims transmogrifies these laws into "Do unto others before they do unto you."

The Qur’an defines other believers as infidels and its mission is to seek out the infidels and destroy them. The whole theme of the Qur’an is a fomenting of violence and violence breeds violence.

What does this mean for you? "For The Unbelievers, Strike Off Their Heads, Until Ye Have Made A Great Slaughter Among Them...."(Sura 47:4)." This isn’t a self defense against aggressors it is a message to be deadly aggressive.
