Colorado Lawmaker Chosen
By Michelle Boorstein
President Obama has picked a Colorado lawmaker to be director of the faith-based office at the Department of Education.
Peter Groff, who is president of the Colorado Senate and a radio talk show host, will be one of the leaders for Obama's Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives based in a government agency. President Bush had the same set-up - 11 faith-based offices in different agencies including Education, Labor, Health and Human Services and Justice.
Groff's job will be to help faith-based and community groups further the president's education goals.
