Progressives rally for lower health care premiums
By Michelle Boorstein
An update:
The coalition of progressive faith groups and labor groups that was rallying, praying and lobbying on Capitol Hill yesterday for health care reform is pushing for some specific things.
The group, which was led by the national faith-based community organizing organization PICO and included SEIU and Catholics In Alliance for the Common Good, is focused on further reducing premiums and out-of-pocket costs for low-income families through greater subsidies.
Their proposal focused on states represented by senators critical to passage - Maine, Nebraska, Louisiana, among others.

I love the irony of using the term "progressive" to characterize people who hew to an incredibly retrograde ideology like socialism.
