Conservative Hypocrisy

In many ways we Americans are hypocritical about our morals and values, but for obvious reasons conservatives seem more hypocritical than anyone else. Many conservatives, for example, believe that women are unsuited to lead us into spiritual awakening but they are eminently qualified to lead our countries. All of us need to wake up to the hypocrisy that rules us and decide what our relations with the other half of humanity is going to be. Either women are as good as men in all respects or they are not. Many parts of the developing world and the old world have found women to be competent and efficient in ruling their countries. What about us here in the United States, which considers itself to be some notches above everyone else? We have been talking a lot about qualifications, yet we seem to ignore what a highly qualified former governor of the largest state in the Union -- Texas -- has done to our country.

enormous military power we have to crush anyone who dares to cross our path. We seem not to accept that brute force in the 21st century is savagery we don't need any more. We need leaders who have compassion, respect, understanding and appreciation of humanity and the need to preserve the world for future generations. Another hypcrisy that we need to open our eyes to is that we have two candidates with the same level of experience but one is white woman and the other a black man. We, at least the conservatives, are willing to accept the white woman with less experience than a Black man. Will the conservatives never get over their racial prejudice?
