If all the Religions evolved you wouldn't be able to tell them apart, you wouldn't even need to differentiate.

One simple religion is to focus on the divine concept through out the day, center your self, and be religious about it, maybe a dozen times a day, you could even add a little ritual, and look to where the Sun rises and think about the sun and how it provides and asks nothing, connect to the source, the infinite mind. Then just deal with the present moment and do within your power, and go with the flow... and everything works out.

This is the “Concise Religion” for today’s short attention spans and brevity of thought for those that want to simply worship and love all of creation and recognize the collective intelligence behind it. A finite mind connected to the infinite mind is a balanced mind. Think of it as tapping into the right brain, the non-linear processing mind.

So what is the Divine concept? That the Divine is you, and all the seemingly “other”, that the witness is all one being, both noun and verb; and that all are of one body, that this is why the right hand pulls the thorn from the left foot and the heart pumps blood to every cell. That there is only one source of love and it is unconditional, we can choose to channel it or not. If we do not then we cut ourselves off from the source. Then problems occur. The universe does not have problems, it only creates challenges and the resources to meet the challenges are always there if you are connected to the source, often found within and witnessed without.

There you go an entire religion in three paragraphs; we can call them the Trinity. We just throw in a virtual church and we have a new religion all the rest is science shouldn’t take long.

I agree with Deepak.

Religion has no place in politics. There is nothing wrong with being Spiritual and the idea that there is some Benevolent All Pervading Intelligence and a connection between all being and that compassion results in the creation of the best future reality for all. But it stops there the rest is mostly Dogma and Fiction.

There is nothing wrong with Spirit being aggressively involved in Politics, in other words giving truth, wisdom and compassion a voice and presence. We need more of this.

Mr Chopra is an educated man. It is quite possible to 'know' something without believing in or worshiping it. I know that broccoli is healthy I've heard about it read about it and even tried it. I still reject it though because to me, it doesn't taste quite right. I'll just get my vitamins somewhere else. Same with jesus, I've read the book, studied the words, listened to countless sermons, I get it, I understand it already... Thanks, but no thanks..

Deepak: how would you know what Jesus stands for when you worship maybe 1,000 Gods and reject the Christian doctrine of creation. Religion does need to go out of all types of worship, including worshipping fallen presidential candidates as if they can save us. Saving Faith in Jesus is what brings joy, continual worship and living it out through our life. However, I will stand on my moral convictions of Holy Scripture and do not have to say before I go into the polls if I'm christian or not. I will tell you this, when it comes time to write my senators and congressman, they don't ask if I'm a christian but they will always know that I stand by moral truth; THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST AND NOT A TRIBAL JUDGE AS YOU STATE...
