Obamas Entitled to Some Privacy

For political reasons it's easy to understand why Senator Obama resigned from Trinity Church. Every church-related statement has the potential of a public controversy.

What does he do now? How does he find a new church home for himself and his family? Few other Americans have to search out and select a home Church with 300 million fellow citizens looking over their shoulders.

Even if we don't overlook his past church relationship let's at least call for some privacy in choosing the next Obama congregation.

I just blogged about this at http://christopherbennett.blogspot.com. I think that this will be a pivotal decision for Barack & Michelle - where they decide to go to Church. Privacy? That is a tough request for arguably the most visible man on earth.

I mean, hey, let's look at just how *backwards* the conservative positions have gotten:

It's "elitism," to be a "liberal," especially when you're being a 'socialist' for suggesting that *literacy and education* should be provided to all, not just those 'freedom-loving rich people,' (read, who always have been the 'elites' ) who can *pay* ...with government help and vouchers, to be sure public schools suck, to have their kids in a special and 'elite' class of private-schooled people...

Backwards, Gary.

Utterly, utterly, backwards.

One might suspect malice.

Much more plausibly than figuring Obama had no real and necessary reasons to leave a church that turned into a circus for the, err, 'non-elite' masses to 'judge' based on spoonfed doubts....

Hel, if the conservatives in our nation feel so intimidated by 'intellectual elites,' maybe they could spend half the effort learning our *own* darn language as they do insisting immigrants be punished if they don't.

Feh.

Yeah, you can call me an 'elitist' if you like.

That's a conservative Christian 'synonym' for 'literate or supporting literacy or using nuance in any fashion not related to defending theocracy.'

Such is the state of education, apparently, people think there's really such a thing as a 'synonym.'

Just cause Fox news taught you those things are equivalent doesn't mean the Newspeak makes for an actual logical equation, Gary.

Under synonyms for leftists Bgone we find the terms liberal though only in the US, and elitist. So essentially you just said alot of people are calling him the same thing but using different synonyous words to do so. And the majority of the more militant atheists are also leftists. Your post is at best irrelevant and at worst absurd.

Roy I watch about 15 minutes of fox news a day. I watch about 15 to 20 minutes of CSpan before I leave for work every morning. But you just keep those blinders on and keep drinking that leftist koolaid and sure enough if you get your way you will find ere long that which is worse than the status quo.

"How does he find a new church home for himself and his family?"

I understand there's a couple convenient to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington, DC. Traditionally-attended, even.

Wahoo. :)

Leith Anderson is being forced into this temperate position on this matter, because, now all of a sudden, when the tide is turning against being too associated with weirdly religious people, and nutty pastors, he is able to see that this sentiment might work against him, as well.

No church at all is an option and he seems to be exercising it right now. There hasn't been a clamor of pastors laying out the welcome mat for him either has there? The biggest congregation of them all is waiting for his pastor-ship.

Will he lead the country where you and your competitors for the "faith in Lucifer dollar" are leading your flocks -to the house of the father of Jesus that according to sacred scriptures is a place called hell. Maybe the time has come for Lucifer's agents better known as pastors, ministers, priests, preachers, Rabbis and Ayatollahs, formerly known as witch doctors to take a vacation?

If the truth was known about the Bible your flock would lose faith in it. Would they also lose faith in you? Just a little worried about the truth? Lies that cause people to get faith are moral, righteous.

Yeah GaryD, he does look like just another leftists. But then he could be liberal or an elitists. He must be covered in Teflon for none of that garbage sticks.

Pastor Anderson, get real. Obama tried to run a stealth campaign. Jeremiah Wright, Tony Resco, William Aires, et al are the direct consequence of that decision.

Barak Obama, in spite, of all his attempts to do otherwise, stands revealed as just another leftist politician only slightly more power hungry than others.
