Jordan,
If you work it right, you can use this forum as a springboard to run for President. I hope you do. Sorry I was half asleep earlier and called you Jay. You have an opportunity to call many others to wake up to the reality of God in all aspects of life and the need to spread that knowledge to all the world with much more effectiveness than today's pastors.
Some of us have been discussing making a new Christian News Network which would go beyond FoxNews' fair and balanced to true right. How would you like to make a demo DVD of you commenting on news like FoxNews people do only from a fully Christian perspective?
With your resources, can you also ask others like David Barton and Chuck Norris to make one? If a day's worth of sample programming can be collected I'd think someone with money would fund it.
We need a stronger media source from the true right to overcome both the liberal media and the moderate media to win hearts and minds for Jesus Christ.
You know there's a market because they say the Congressional Prayer Caucus has standing room only now. They represent a lot of people.

Our nation has always been a Christian nation, that is what has made us strong. God, has made this nation great because it's founders looked to God for the answers and not other nations. The day this nation starts to move away from God is the day this nation falls. May God wake this nation from it's slumber.

Greeting from our Lord and Savior Jesus christ.
Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Ester and Jehosphaphat are just a few who when attacked by the adversary, called a fast I think we all should read Isaiah 58:6-14 and Romans 13:1-14 and meditate the words of Great Jehovah. We need widsom from Elohim.

Hello Mr. Sekulow. As a lifelong healthcare worker, I would enjoy discussions of the moral implications of government taking increasing control of health care remuneration. If an entity finds itself paying for the consequences of individual choices (smoking, overeating, using drugs, etc.), then how long will it take that entity to begin exerting influence--even power--over those individual choices? Please deal with one implication at a time, and it should open many eyes concerning the potential for restrictions on individual freedoms within healthcare reform.

Proof the Post is shifting to the right. Sekulow was on FOX 5 a couple of days ago, and rudely badgered and interruptered the commentator from the opposing viewpoint. Jordan, how about some civility and manners? You got to say your piece, but refused to let the opposition get a word in. If your viewpoint held any water, you wouldn't have to shout anyone down.
WaPo, shame on you for granting column space to this shill.

Hell Jordan,
I lost my job almost 2 yrs ago, had only three interviews and the unemployment has stopped, I have zero income, having to live with my daughter and her husband who by the way serves his counntry in the Navy. I became so desparate I called Welfare and was denied any help because I don't have minor children. I'm 61 yrs old have been working since I was 15 yrs old, paid my taxes and now denied any help whats so ever, however if I were illegal, and needed the help I could get it! Right on the forms it stated"If you are not a citizen and have minor children you are entitled to emergency funds, foodstamps and medical"! I fell off the chair! So what are the older folks to do? My retirement was hit hard last year and I lost over half of that, I've lost most everything, except my faith in God, what is this country becoming? I love your new blog, God bless you Jordan

It is a Socialistic, Marxist teaching and with it, little by little, he rapes this nation, taking down our defenses, making new [or suitable] language for the Islamic Extremists..."

Hi Jordan,
Nice to finally meet you!
My only comment today would be to ask that any and every time you possibly can, share ways for Christians reading this blog to be encouraged to speak with those who do not. At 64 years of age, I still believe the vast majority of real American citizens are basically good, decent, honest folks who up until now were too busy making a living, rasing their families, and fulfilling their local church and community duties. These people pretty much were blindsided by the extremely liberal take-over of our governments, our legal system, and our public schools and colleges over the past 40 + years. Now, to begin to stop and then reverse this trend has become a monumental task. And I firmly believe it is still more than doable by the grace and with the help of God.
Jordan, here at the grassroots level we desparately need encouragers to inspire these everyday Americans to STAND UP for God and for Country. If each reader would but make a concerned effort to share information on this effort in a dignified and respectful manner with these people in their daily lives, then YES!, with God's help we will once again take back the United States of America as the home of the brave and the bastion of truth, integrity, honesty and morality. Each of us can encourage these people in our lives to always choose "the high road". May God help each of us if we fail at such a time as this!
MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all, and, may God bless you and those you love with His richest blessings.

Jordan,
Thank you for this opportunity to post our comments on your blog.
Can you tell us how, as Christian Conservatives, we can best express our frustration with what is going on in Washingtion right now? Our representatives and "leaders" appear to be either out of touch or unresponsive to our basic moral views and even long held patriotic principles. It appears that Washington has a different and even radical agenda and has it's priorities confused.
I know sometimes the political process takes time to get on board with the will of the people, but this is getting beyond the point where it is deserving of great ridicule.
Also, with so many of our institutions in the U.S. on the verge of either failing, disfunctional, stressed or in badly need of repair, which one would you suggest we spend the most effort in repairing and in prayer for?

I suppose this Blog could be "anything Christian", but I hope we all go deeper than Gospel Quotes. For some reason Christianity is under attack again. The only reasons I can think of stem from
communism or Islam. We musr be careful that we Christians do not become zealots without purpose.
I don't like Christmas being called "the holiday" or banning speach about or hiding th Nativity Scenes. Why not change Quanza to Winter Happy Time and Hanuka to Jolly Jewish holidays. My point is to simply leave us alone. Jews and Christians believe in God and this commonground was to l;ead to "In God We Trust". Crosses on Christian's graves and The Golden Rule.
We must be careful to not tread on government and the seperationof Church and state. This is most important. We can't use our religeous beliefs to enter into the edicts and our laws of the land or the Constitution. This is a Democracy ( of sorts). Jews ,Buddist ,Christian and atheist all live under her Justice. Every person that applies for citizenship should be well aware that while I won't interfer with his right to worship I don't expect him to ignore our laws. Law is above individual religeous practices unless
stipulations have been made. This new immigrant will assimilate ,not agrivate. He will learn our language and rsspect our laws and pledge alligience to our nation and flag.
As a good Chritian I obey the laws of our nation,God and Jesus. I know that tolerance is a better tool than hostility when dealing with non Christians, But I fear that Muslims are not like minded. The Muslim only allows infidels to reside with him until his numbers get large enough to drive them out or KILL them. Not all Muslims are violent by nature ,but their faith seems to be on a different level than most Western Judeo-Christians can comprehend. If theImam says kill infidels you better prepare to defend yourselves.
This is not my opinion or half truths. Look at the history of Islam. Chritians waged war against Islam during the Crusades.Islam has been at war with infidels ,Jews, Buddists, anybody not Muslim. Muslim s are good people ,but their religion is most intolerant of non
Muslims. The olny other group that I find to be more intolerant is the ACLU. They are the biggest attack on the American way of life. To think that I have to pay for their biased and stupid law suits make me angry. These overpaid "ambulance chasers" are as anti Constitutional and ridicupous as any legal organization can be. When they get all the crosses off the national graveyards they can gon about making worms illegal on my tax dollar! I'm not sure whom started the term " undocumented
immigrant" the ACLU or the President , but there is no such animal. You are a registered immigrant ,a visa bearing or green card carrying visitor or a scofflaw trespassing invader , " illegal alien ". Where and why the dispute?

Social conservatives and religious right now want these? :
Protect the Constitution – From whom? And for the cause of the republic, or democracy or both?
Reject Cap & Trade – Related to energy regulations?
Demand a Balanced Budget - Need an an amendment to the Constitution to force a balanced budget and a 2/3 vote for any tax hike? And forbid the federal government is forbidden to run a deficit?
Enact Fundamental Tax Reform –For a flat tax?
Restore Fiscal Responsibility & Constitutionally Limited Government – Why and how?
End Runaway Government Spending – How to limit the overall federal spending growth to inflation plus a percentage based on population growth?
Defund, Repeal, & Replace Government-run Health Care -Obamacare costing health insurance to go up?
Pass an ‘All-of-the-Above” Energy Policy – Enough energy reserves in the U.S?
Stop the Pork – Until the budget is balanced?
Stop the Tax Hikes –To keep more of what you earn? What about capital gains and death taxes?

Elena - wanted to answer your question on the definition of social conservative. The term social conservative/religious right came about after American evangelicals engaged the political process as an organized group. This began in the late 70's and early 80's with groups like the Moral Majority and Christian Coalition.
Since then, the movement has evolved. While formally dominated by "social" issues like abortion, social conservatives today have strong views on economic policy/tax, foreign policy, the courts, and just about every issue debated in Washington, DC.
The "constitutional conservative" movement is a banner that social conservatives fall under as the movement has always called for a strict constructionist view of the US Constitution. As reported by Washington Post, evangelicals makeup 55% of the "Tea Party."
Hope this helps. "Religious Right Now" will dive into all of these issues.

You are saying that because someone is not Christian, they are evil and going to hell.
This includes the vast majority of the world in which we and our country live in.
You are basically saying you are better than me.

I would like for him to talk about all above issues. Give Scripture to support each point. This is a great witnessing opportunity. God's Word the Bible is TRUTH!! The world is looking for people who will stand for truth with unwavering faith!! Light to the World.
Love - God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son(Jesus Christ to die on a cross) that whosoever believes in Him(who He is and what He did) shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Intentional - For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God cannot look upon sin because HE is sinless. So, how does man stand a chance of getting to heaven. We don't without Jesus. But God demonstrated His own love towards us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us! God made a way so we CAN have forgiveness of our sins through Jesus Christ.
Forgiven - just ask God to forgive you of your sins. Admit your a sinner. Believe what Jesus did on the cross and that He's the only way to heaven. Ask Jesus to be Lord and Savior of your life.
Eternity - all men will spend eternity somewhere. Heaven or Hell. Where will you spend eternity? Hell will be eternity for unforgiven sinners who never asked Jesus for forgiveness of their sins or asked Jesus to be Lord and Savior of their lives. Heaven will be eternity for those folks who admitted their need for a Savior, asked for forgiveness of their sins and asked Jesus to come into their heart, soul and mind to be their Savior.

First thank you for standing up for Jesus and sanity in a evil sinfull time. Just a few things...The big picture is important, some things that seem small are also important. Spent last several years getting "Christians" to where they actually say Jesus..Be salty..stand up for Jesus..Lunches where they ask blessing from a higher power, tree, the force, rocks, etc. simply shared with them the importance of asking if ok to thank God,in Jesus name..woooo..know its a small step in most eyes. But we must stand firm, not mean or pushy. With Love..and..Please stand with Israel and Jews..my goodness..how a evil world treats Christians..keep up with Israel and the Jews..never alone..we must help, bless both..so sad..Let us stand in Love,be salty..and share the Good News of Salvation while there is time. God Bless all of you,in Jesus name..Love...Merry Christmas to all...

Congradulations on your new blog and I look forward to hearing what you have to say.
- What I want to know is why are atheists so intimidated by us Christians if they don't believe in God/Jesus the Son of God? I mean if they don't believe, then why are they so offended when we openly pray in public? Why does it bother them so much if they really believe that God is non-existent?
I'm not intimidated by Christians. Most of my family are Christian. I love Christians.
You need to seperate atheists who are vocal on TV and the blogs from those of us
who want real dialouge with Christians. If you're an atheist, most likely you are well-versed in religion and science and love to talk about it.
Atheists love our families and children, go to work, and hang out with our religious friends.
I don't want to convert anyone. I want a dialouge that includes all so we can
better our families, our community, our country, and the world as a whole
- We need to remember why this Country was founded, our Declaration of Independence, and Constitution.
We need to remember that Dec 25th is a Christian Holiday to Celebrate the Birth of Christ! If you do not
belive in Christ, then you should not be able to have the day off and work!
Remember that Christmas has pagan symbols and rituals. Most atheists celebrate Christmas in the US.
Merry Christmas! Jesus and Buddha's life are an inspiration to me.
- Just skipping the religious argument for a minute; how is homosexuality compatible with
anything in nature? How can anyone claim it's anything but aberrant to nature? Thought you atheists
all bought the Evolution propaganda...so apply your natural selection to homosexuality, please...
and let's call it what it is.
You need to do some research on this because it is well-documented.

Jordan, Thank God for you and your dad, Jay for your family's Christian service and representation to avert this country's viscious rip off of familial values and US founding heritage. I hope you have time to read the aforementioned comments from MChamb..., KPPhil.., Deea..., Overcom..., TK0...and all the others, for they are commendable and certainly astute and diplomatic in their intentions.
PLEASE BEGIN A DIALOGUE ON DIVORCE LAW--For what we are seeing is a surge in No Fault and easy dissolution of a God-endorsed institution which has been saying for years:"Go ahead & jump in--it's just a trial union"--not forever." Divorce law as it exists is destructive to human behavior, economic policy and commerce due to bankruptcy and lack of 2 family households; and remains a threat to family life and the general welfare of all individuals.
Merry Christmas, Jordan! And, thanks to the Post for this balanced viewpoint initiative.

Hi Jay,
I'd like to see a description of what a true Christian really is, what the true church is, and what we should be doing now and in the future. If you have a copy of my book http://congressionalbiblestudy.org it can inspire a lot of topics. For example, should we use the military to accomplish the Great Commission in continuance of what Thomas Jefferson did as President? How can we get Congress to do these things again instead of just playing with other people's money?
It has been said, "Christianity is the greatest religion that has never been tried". That explains why David Barton bemoans the divorce rate among Christians as being equal to the secular divorce rate.
God willing, I'm starting the true church with four principles:
1) Memorize a Gospel. Mt Mk Lk Jn
2) Practice Jesus' miracles.
3) Teach 12 disciples for 3.5 years.
4) Fix church errors. Rev. 2-3.
The list looks simple - if followed it could spread to everyone on earth in 35 years. Serious Christians think they know the gospel but hearing it explained several times in church isn't adequate. When I listen to a Gospel at night while going to bed at http://biblek12.org/gospel I often hear something new, something is empnasized that I never saw before. Also, in Revelation it appears the four types of living creatures may represent those who memorize and live the four Gospels. I'm not the only one who has linked Matthew = Lion, Mark = ox calf, Luke = man, and John - eagle. You can go to heaven as an elder but you have to throw down your crowns at Jesus' feet including your position to be equal at the marriage supper of the lamb. How much better to go as a living creature who glorifies God?
Memorizing a Gospel doesn't guarantee understanding it or living it but it's a start that can get you far closer to Jesus than the contemporary preaching of random bible verses a speaker enjoys. Memorizing downloads the power to speak from the hierarchy to the believer, which supports our personal equality under Jesus only and freedom in Christ upon which America was founded.
Some derelict pastors even teach against becoming Rev. 2-3 overcomers and say the manchild in Rev. 12:5 is Jesus instead of telling the truth that the Rev. 12 woman is the end-time church and the manchild is the true overcoming believers both Jew (Isa. 66:7) and Gentile, the wise virgins in Mat. 25. Expecting a pew potato rapture dumbs down lecture based Christianity into behaving equal to worldly secularists in divorce and other social matters.
So I want to see you take the high road that can pry people out of the mire of contemporary Christianity into the good land of Jesus' miracles described in the "Finger of God" DVD instead of simply discussing a list of social issues that have no solution without a change toward an enlightened population of believers.
If you want, feel free to contact me directly via the email link on my book website. http://congressionalbiblestudy.org

This whole scam the homosexuals are trying to perpetrate is to get the country to bless an unnatural sex obsession and then claim the same tax treatment that legitimate natural families get, not to mention the B.A.S. service spouses get. The dirty little secret is that their lawyer/judge co-conspirators have given them the right to adopt so they can work their obsessions on the young and innocent who don't have AIDS yet.

Elena,
Don't get too caugfht up in labels. They are used to simplify stances and philosophies when someone wants to expediently describe themselves or other groups. But when you start getting all complicated- asking questions that have multiple layers and incorporate ethics, economics, religion, and so forth- the labels start to break down. It becomes obvious that one conservative has less and less authority to answer your questions on behalf of all their friends and relatives. As a Sekulow listener, I would say their philosophy is a generic Judeo Christian one, and it is probably their primary MO on the show. Economics are important to them, but I really wouldn't listen to their show for economic viewpoints, and I don't think that others do either. Nor would they claim to have the corner in that market- and they stick to their guns. They know law and ethics, they know philosophy and good works. They know opression and danger when they see it, and they fight for the freedoms that judeo christians value.

I have one question. What is a social conservative and how do you differentiate yourself as a social conservative from a fiscal or just a regular conservative. My concern is what if fiscal issues diverged from social issues such that you had to choose one over the other. I would not have even thought of this question had not in the recent past, Colin Powell described himself as a fiscal conservative and a social liberal.
I am conservative; I don't care what the issues are. I would certainly not support anyone in anyway who has liberal social values or with liberal ways of allocating resources or securing monies.
All I want to know from you is when the two (fiscal and social conservatism) come in conflict, where do you lean?
Sincerely,
Elena

So I must ask, why is it then that they choose to vote in laws which clearly banish now more than 700, THOUSAND people who have served their sentence... many of which committed 1 crime, some with no victims at all, are released from their punishment handed down at sentencing by the courts.. only to be BRANDED AS LEPERS by the Public Sex Offender Registry... Many turned away from churches, some states even banning anyone who is on the registry from going to any church that has children present.
Once the person in the church is found to be on the registry, slowly their is a pulling away of the church members... these people are watched, made to stay in certain areas in the church... MANY HAVE NEVER HARMED A CHILD IN THEIR LIVES... but all are the same on the registry.
THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYERS SPEAKS ON THE ISSUES
A professional bar association founded in 1958, NACDL's more than 12,800 direct members -- and 94 state, local, and international affiliate organizations with another 35,000 members -- include private criminal defense lawyers, public defenders, active U.S. military defense counsel, law professors and judges committed to preserving fairness within America's criminal justice system.
II. NACDL opposes sex offender registration and public notification laws. If employed at all, sex offender registries should classify sex offenders on the basis of risk, with full due process of law. Public/community notification provisions should be reserved for “High Risk” sex offenders.
V. NACDL opposes residence restrictions because such laws and ordinances do not provide effective community protection and threaten offender stability and reintegration into society.
The recent wave of sex offender legislation is based upon emotion and myths about sex offenders which are not supported by valid research or evidence. Legislation in this area should be based upon facts and valid evidence. The NACDL encourages criminal defense lawyers, prosecutors and legislators to oppose legislation based upon myth and public emotion. In doing so we can ensure both public safety and due process. SOURCE
If all these professionals say the Public Humiliation makes society less safe.. why is it that so many politicians, including Christians.. push for YOU the tax payer to fund these ineffective laws...
I contend the answer is in MONEY. Go to google and key in, Lobby game exposed?
Tell me, are these people out to MAKE MONEY OFF OF PASSING SEX OFFENDER LAWS?
Why no public outcry over 12 thousand deaths each year in USA from Alcohol.
I will tell you, the money people want alcohol to be legal so they can MAKE MONEY.
Hitler motivated the Germans.. Media hype and Politicians..USA

We were betrayed by Worthington Christian Schools (WCS) and Grace Brethren Church (GBC) of Columbus, Ohio. See the Internet web site ABCsOfBetrayal.com for details.
As reported in the Columbus Dispatch newspaper series THE ABCs OF BETRAYAL, the administrators at Worthington Christian Schools (WCS) and Grace Brethren Church (GBC) were secretly recorded during one of their cover-up meetings in which the following statement was made about one of the school’s child molesting Teachers/Coaches (and Youth Directors for elementary-aged children):
"We understand that if something happens between Dwayne and a student, we will be big-time liable,"
executive pastor Jim Augspurger said on the recording.
"That's a risk we take. I think before God we did the right thing and it may not be the worldly, may not even be the most prudent thing, but it is something we have done,"
he said.
"We've wiped the slate clean. I understand the situation it puts us in."
Several months after the administrators got caught committing those serious crimes: a 10-year Conspiracy of Criminal Negligence, Deception, Fraud, and Cover-Ups against the parents, a participant in those crimes publicly stated the following (as also recorded):
"I was a Lead Pastor here for eight years and a Director Of Junior High Youth Ministries in the past. This is a Watergate. The church covered it up. I was in the meetings. I've known all these years that it was a student. And I was told to get back to wiping noses and not to let it out."
Those administrators remain in power, remain as a serious threat to unsuspecting consumers, and remain as horrible examples to all students on how to treat your business customers and your fellow man.
After Columbus Prosecutor Robert S. Tobias refused to fulfill his responsibilities to prosecute the WCS/GBC administrators for their serious crimes (for which there is overwhelming and irrefutable evidence), a parent began working with the Supreme Court of Ohio to have the WCS/GBC attorney disbarred for his part in those crimes.
Incredibly, that very same prosecutor, Robert S. Tobias, then accepted frivolous complaints by the law firm that the WCS/GBC attorney works for after the parent simply asked two questions, the first as suggested by the Supreme Court of Ohio, about those serious crimes. The parent was then prosecuted by Robert S. Tobias and sentenced to three (3) years probation.
The WCS/GBC attorney and the law firm he works for have been trying desperately to have the parent put in jail; first for following the suggestion by Supreme Court of Ohio, then again over the definition of the word “title”, then again because the parent contacted appeal attorneys, then again because a Letter To The Editor was published as written by the parent, and then again because the parent distributed purely factual political information.
Please help alert consumers by informing others about these serious crimes, betrayals, and dangerous hypocrisy.

Jordan, I'd like to see you discuss how the "religious right," as the media has dubbed conservative Christians in this country, can correct the perception of Christians by the public and the media. We have been our worst enemy, but often the media doesn't help. Either their understanding of the Christian faith is distorted, they have a fear of offending someone by covering such stories as the true meaning of Christmas, or they have a personal agenda of attacking a belief system that they think threatens their own lifestyle.
I look forward to reading these posts.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34 NKJV).
JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON: The atheist enjoy the fruits of this great country of ours the United States of America and bash the one that made it all possible Jesus Christ. If Christ had not come there would be no United States of America.
The Pilgrims came to this country to advance the kingdom of God. The New England Charter signed by King James confirms this goal: …”to advance the enlargement of Christian religion to the glory of God Almighty.”
When all the colonies had been established, they got together for the first time in 1643 and wrote these words: “whereas we all came into these parts of America with one and the same aim, namely, to advance the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ”.
Thomas Jefferson said, “…These liberties are a gift of God”. John Adams said, “The height of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity”. Benjamin Franklin said, “…the longer I live the more convinced I become that God governs in the affairs of men…and have we now forgotten that powerful friend? Or have we imagined we no longer need His assistance”.
George Washington said, “Religion and morality are the twin pillars upon which government rests”.
On July 9, 1774, As the Colonies was seeking God’s will as to whether they should break ties with England. George Washington made this entry in his diary: “Went to church and fasted all day”. On July 9, 1776, General George Washington issued the general order to his troops stating:
“The general hopes and trust that every officer and man will endeavor so to live, and act, as becoming a Christian Soldier defending the dearest rights and liberties of this country.” Washington received no pay for serving in the American Army”
Research has determined that of the fifty-five men who met in Philadelphia in the Constitutional Convention to write the Constitution, fifty of them unquestionably were Christian and possibly fifty-two.
At that time, ninety-eight percent of Americans were Protestant Christians; 1.8 percent were Catholic Christians; percent of two tenths of one percent, were Jewish. Therefore 99.8 percent of the people in America in 1776 claimed to be Christian.
“Our laws and institutions must necessary be based upon the teaching of the redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; our civilization and institutions are emphatically Christian”. (U.S. Supreme Court in the Trinity decision 1892)
All fifty of our states have reference to God in their Constitutions.

We need to remember why this Country was founded, our Declaration of Independence, and Constitution. We need to remember that Dec 25th is a Christian Holiday to Celebrate the Birth of Christ! If you do not belive in Christ, then you should not be able to have the day off and work! We speak English, which should be declared our offical language. We are becoming too politically correct and maybe we should close our borders and admit only those who believe in the principles upon which this country was founded. If not, you are free to leave. We must define marriage a between a man and woman only. We must reinstill our moral values, e.g., the ten commandments. If not eventually this will be the end of the US as we know it and why it has been successully in a free market economy. We no longer have a free market economy due to too much government and too many rules and regulations. We are not doing well in education since we put people in prison for almost anything for long periods leaving little money for education! This and many other things are why the US is not doing well. We should take care of those at home first before trying to help the whole world. It is better to do a few things well that many poorly. It is impossible for us to do everything for everybody, or we will go bankrupt like England, Ireland, Spain, Greece. Ingnorance and poverty breads poverty and ignorance and the bible says leave something for the poor but it did not say give it to them on a silver plattter! So much for the soapbox! Any thoughts how we can get back to the basics of proviing only food, clothing and shelter?
