Rep. Michael Honda, (D-Calif.) also takes issue with the hearings based on Honda's experience as a Japanese American who was forced into internment camps during WWII. "I thought we learned a lesson or two from my internment camp experience in Colorado. I hope I am not proven wrong."
Asra Nomani, a Muslim journalist and activist, takes another view and wrote this week in support of the hearings: "Instead of circling the wagons with a public relations campaign of victimization, Muslims should rise to the occasion and honestly discuss what we all know: there is a very real interpretation of Islam inside our communities that threatens to convert our youth and others to extremism."

Where are the house hearings on radical Christianity? The radical Baptists have certainly engaged in more terrorist acts in this country than the Muslims. Atlanta Olympics bombing, Oklahoma City bombing, recent events in Tuscon...Gotta love those double American standards. www.killingmother.blogspot.com.
